Most leasing companies outsource equipment brokerage services, giving us a distinct advantage that is reflected in our terms and conditions. Such service offerings include but are not limited to 30-day grace periods, the ability to return equipment with missing and/or broken parts without penalty, complimentary packing and shipping, and mixing and matching of schedules to eliminate extensions. Merrimak offers Department of Defense disk cleansing and data destruction, complies with HIPAA, and employs best practices for “green” recycling.

Materials Handling Leasing: We specialize in leasing fleets of all different types of materials handling equipment. We own and operate our own refurbishment centers and have numerous facilities for returning off-lease equipment, enhancing our ability to minimize and reduce costs. Manufacturer indifferent, we can ensure competitive pricing for replacement equipment. Our leases can be structured to allow for the mixing and matching of units at lease end with the goal of eliminating all renewal costs. We offer fair and reasonable return provisions. All leases are supported through Merrimak’s web-based asset tracking.

Manufacturing, Packaging, and Auxiliary Equipment: Merrimak has deep expertise in the leasing of manufacturing, packaging, and auxiliary equipment. We offer short-term rental programs, operating, and capital leases for these equipment types. Our remarketing expertise allows for ultimate flexibility throughout the lease term, as we have the ability to source and competitively remarket used equipment. With programs in place with machine tool distributors and packaging manufacturers, we can offer creative, innovative, and flexible solutions in addition to the ability to aggressively remarket customer-owned assets.

Medical Equipment Leasing: We have full expertise in remarketing all types of medical equipment. HIPAA compliant, we are proactive in keeping abreast of the constantly changing regulations. Merrimak offers competitive capital, operating, and tax-based leases for terms up to 15 years. We are positioned to perform at the most competitive level and can offer the low cost of funds that customers are currently enjoying from large institutional banks.

Fleet and Stand-alone Vehicle Lease Financing: Merrimak has the ability to competitively source, stage, manage, and retire all types of stand-alone vehicles and/or fleets of vehicles through our program affiliations. Terms are available up to 84 months. Transactions can be structured as terminal rental adjustment clause (TRAC), fair-market value (FMV), capital, and/or rental agreements. An optional maintenance program can be included.

Rail Equipment Leasing: We can competitively provide leasing alternatives for but not limited to rail equipment, intermodal chassis, locomotives, freight cars, containers, trailers, barges, and maintenance-of-way equipment. Terms can be as long as 15 years. These assets can be structured as capital, operating, or tax-based leases.

Aviation: Merrimak leases aircraft, engines, and parts. We offer competitive capital, operating, and tax-based leases for terms up to 15 years. General Equipment: Merrimak can offer competitive, flexible, and creative options for terms up to 15 years for any type of capital equipment acquisition or facility improvements. Asset types include but are not limited to solar panels; generators; conveyers; furniture; fixtures, and equipment (FF&E); building improvements; and brick and mortar. Leases can be structured as a tax, fair-market value, or capital leases.
